Sentence Scientists

Today we were taking our science concept (exploring
matter by breaking it down to its basic elements -
atoms) to English class. We were practicing all of
our English skills by breaking down sentences to
their atoms, or parts of speech. We were trying to
identify subjects, predicates, nouns, adverbs,
adjectives, and verbs in sentences. Here is our
work:
