Welcome back, kids. I hope your summer was as fun as mine was. If you are reading this, then you noticed that I am going to be your teacher this year. I have known that you were going to be in my class for about a week now and have been busy making table and cubby tags. I cannot wait to put faces to these name.

Classroom News - An almost daily blog of coming events, news, chalkboards, and class/homework.
Games and Media - A collection of educational games and resources, along with classroom movies, photo galleries, and (hopefully) our podcast.
Downloads - Educational materials for your to explore ranging in all elementary abilities across our curriculum. Audio versions of some of our texts are also available for your to listen to at home. Ask me for the username and password!
Club Geek - An online forum for students of Mr. Marchionda to collaborate, chit chat, and share interests. Not Available for Registration Yet!!
Online Grade Book - Here are your grades, kids! Parents can use this to check up on your grades, missing work, and corrections still out. Not Available Yet!!
Email Me - Feel free to use this to shoot me an email. I only will be checking my email a few times a day, so still call for any last minute changes to routes home.
Wish List - If you would like to contribute to our classroom environment, check out our wish list. Please do not buy anything, but if you have any of these items around the house we could use them in the classroom.

Lastly, please feel free to have your parent submit their email address in the sidebar to the right. If you have one, put yours in too! After doing this you will get all of these blog posts emailed to your every day!

Check out pictures of your almost finished classroom. Almost everything is up and ready to go, but all the desks need their name tags. Hopefully, all should be set to go by Tuesday for “Meet and Greet” night. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Just thought I would post a bit of an update on what I have been up to this summer. Michelle, my wife, has been teaching summer school and taking her masters classes while I have been the stay at home daddy. Nadia and I have been best buds this summer going swimming, playing in the back yard, and going on many walks. Nadia has grown quite a bit!

We also just got back from a trip to South Dakota. We took Nadia all over seeing caves, pools, and tons of animals. There are some pictures below.
