This page is
dedicated to asking for "hand-me-downs". If you
have any of the items listed below at home and
would like to get rid of them, I would love to
take them off of your hand. Feel free to donate
any of these items to your classroom. Make sure
Mom and Dad are aware and helping you, though! :)
• Old Floor or Table Lamps. I use a computer and projector for quite a bit of the teaching that is done on any particular day. Because of this our room can be dark. With the help of a few floor lamps I have bought, our room is not so dark. I am hoping to get two or three more table lamps or floor lamps to bring the room up to that of a hip coffee house. The more "70's" the lamp, the better! :)
• Used Chapter Books. If you have any old chapter books that you are sure you are not going to read again, we would like to add them to our classroom library. I would love to have books reaching all levels for reading from early second grade to fifth grade.
• Old Board Games. If you have any old/used board games that you do not play any more, we would love to add them to our collection for indoor recess times. Good games help make those days seem just that much better.
Thanks in advance for your generosity. I sincerely appreciate any and all donations of the above items to our classroom!
